Larry Weishuhn
Wildlife biologist, acclaimed outdoor writer, and one of the "superstars" of outdoor television, Larry Weishuhn is one of the most widely recognized and respected outdoorsmen today.
His study of wildlife biology at Texas A&M, and subsequent work with the Texas Department of Wildlife set the course for Larry Weishuhn's scientific-based management strategies that earned him the moniker of "Mr. Whitetail." As an outdoor communicator, Larry has prolifically shared his knowledge through television and the written word.
Author of over 1500 feature articles, Larry has written for numerous publications, including Petersen's Hunting, Sporting Classics, Deer & Deer Hunting, North American Hunter, and Shooting Times, and many others. He is also author of the award-winning book Trailing the Hunters Moon.
With his warm southern manner and trademark beard and hat, Larry is one of the most recognizable personalities in outdoor television. Throughout his career, Larry has appeared in and hosted a number of television programs and series, and is currently the host of A Hunters Life with Larry Weishuhn and Outfittersrating with Larry Weishuhn.
A 2007 inductee into the National Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame, Larry is a sought-after featured speaker and seminar presenter that will bring notoriety to an event like few in the industry can.
